History of the Ensemble
Folklore ensemble Leluja was established by Hana Tesařová and Eva Janíková in Provodov in 2008. Their aim was to present old traditions held in luhačovské Zálesí in the past to both children and public. The ensemble was run by the Elementary Art School Morava and Eva Janíková became the head of the ensemble.
In some time the folk costume was reconstructed and so were some of the original traditions. The ensemble increased in number and expanded to the neighbouring village Řetechov.
In November 2011 Leluja passed to newly founded civic association Leluja, o.s. Several musicians joined the ensemble and a few months later the group grew into a cimbalom band.
In June 2012 Leluja organized folklore festival Hore Provodovem and an adult dance group was set up later in August.
In 2012 Leluja performed at more than twenty events, including several domestic and international folklore festivals, charity concerts or individual performances.
